| This bottom fermented lager has is modelled after the German style 'Bock' Julebuk has a redbrown colour and quite a malty body that comes from munich and crystal malts. Both the odour and the taste is therefore pronounced malty. At the same time the christmas seasonings are to be found in the palette. A good and fullbodied christmas brew for the cold wintertime. The name 'Julebuk' referres to the old game where a dressed up person made fun with both children and adults. Finally the German word 'Bock' translated into danish is called 'buk'. |
